Growing with Gratitude

So many changes are happening in the world. My thoughts and prayers are with the people affected by the catastrophic changes occurring in Japan at this time. I am keeping all those affected in my thoughts and prayers. Please join me in keeping Japan in the Light.

In a time like this it’s difficult to understand why, and I certainly cannot even begin to fathom the reason. On the other hand, I am ever so thankful for all those who survived. In the bigger picture I see this as an opportunity for good to emerge from the destruction as a flower emerges in the spring from the destruction of winter. I believe many dream seeds will be planted and many humans will certainly grow and bloom. We can only wait and see what the future will bring.

I know this will be a year of drastic change, but as the earth renews so will the human spirit. I am looking to the future with hope and gratitude in my heart. And I know my Dream Seeds will Go and Grow as I allow my Great-Full-Ness to flow through to the Heart of me. With Joy and Appreciation, in Gratitude I go, a Blooming Human.

I am Marsha!

Here I Grow...

I am a blooming human and here I grow...I begin my first blog in another series of 42. My first experience with Go Gratitude was fantastic. So, I am really expecting big changes to come. It’s so exciting, and frightening too, but I am not afraid. I know that whatever falls away is no longer needed and it will be replaced by new things I do need for my lessons here in Earth School to continue. I hope to further develop my ‘Unique role’ whatever that might be in the ‘New Reality’ that is coming in this year of the elevens, twenty ‘11.’

I have planted 4 dream seeds for each of my dreams, we shall see what may come, what will grow and most importantly how each will bloom or not. I am hopeful and excited, even a little impatient. I have so much to do, but I also know it’s easier when I do a little each day, and it quickly adds up. This is a great insight for a procrastinator! Another aha moment!

I am beginning my writing on March 10 even though the 9th Unity Wave began yesterday because the email from Stacey came so late yesterday evening I didn’t have time to write. My writing time is in the morning, so unless the emails come early I will have to write the next day. But really it doesn’t matter, I will still be writing for 42 days, it will all work out.

I cannot end today with out mentioning my grandfather, George, today, March 10th was his birthday. I remember one story he told me from when he was little, he said the Indian would come on their farm and take away the dead chickens that had died naturally. I suppose they must have eaten them. I’m not sure, I so wish I would have paid more attention, because now I have so many questions. He was a kind and caring man and I loved him very much, I am so thankful for the time we spent together.

So here we grow, birthing a new reality in gratitude. I am Marsha!

On November 11, 2010, the one year anniversary of my hip replacement surgery I wrote thank you letters to the doctor and the charitable organization that made it all possible. I want to share my heart felt letters of gratitude with you.

Letter to Dr. Richard W. Garner
A year ago could barely walk and I certainly couldn’t do it without extreme pain. I really was only a few weeks away from being in a wheelchair and unable to walk at all. Today and everyday since my hip replacement surgery, I thank God that I can walk and I thank God for you. There is nothing I can ever say that can even come close to expressing my heart felt gratitude for the miraculous life-changing surgery you performed on me on November 11, 2009. I can only say you are my Angel, Dr. Garner. Thank you so very much and thank you for making a difference.

Letter to Anchorage Project Access
I just wanted to send you a short thank you note, even though I don’t know how I can ever thank you enough for the wonderful gift you have given to me. You really have changed my life. I was literally only weeks away from being unable to walk and spending my life in a wheelchair. I was lost in a never ending cycle of pain, depression and sleepless nights. Today and everyday since my hip replacement surgery on November 11, 2009, I thank God that I can walk. Thank you so very much and please give my heart felt thanks to all the wonderful Angels at Project Access.

I also chose this time to return my Prayer Card to Astara. Since this is also part of my healing path, I am reposting it here as well.

Astara Prayer Card
My greatest need is to live in joy and also to have peace in my life and within my family. I wish to continue growing spiritually with Astara’s degree lessons. I hope to find my true path through communication. I would like to make a difference in the world by sharing my story. I aspire to contribute to the greater good while helping others as I walk my healing path of gratitude.

The tradition of the prayer card began 50 years ago, ‘blending the power of intent with the workings of the Divine already present in each highest good.’ The Voice of Astara, November 2010. The card becomes part of Astara’s special Christmas Service and thus becomes ‘a powerful vehicle for growth, healing, transformation…’

So as the Astarian Tradition continues, my new tradition of sending thank you cards on the anniversary of my life changing surgery begins…

And so as my healing path continues…always with gratitude, I am Marsha!
